Inspiring evening with the Northallerton Cadets.
I spoke to a large group about government, the Conservative Party and a variety of political issues like free speech, broadband, schools and housing.
All the Cadets shared their experiences about how they came to the Cadets. Some were from Forces families, but most liked the idea of service, belonging to something, and learning some great skills. I spent time with a First Aid class and spoke to some others about their exciting camp stories.
Best of all was seeing the incredible discipline they showed around their marching drills!
