Quorn is a leading and fast growing global food business. You will likely be aware of their products in the supermarkets as they are the UK's leading meat substitute brand. Quorn's products include mince, ready meals, pepperoni, cottage pie, burgers and much more!

Quorn is based in Stokesely and is one of the largest businesses and employers in the constituency, emplying over 600 people and generating £350m in sales, of which a good amount are exported around the world.

I toured the factoryand spent time with senior management to understand the reasons behind Quorn's success and what they need to keep succeeding.

As an innovative company, the tax credits Government provides for Research and Development are very helpful for Quorn. These tax credits make it easier and cheaper for companies like Quorn to invest in discovering new ideas and creating new products. These new products ultimately fuel the company's growth, helping it sell more products, employ more people and pay more taxes. Locallly, the advantanage in a large company like Quorn thriving is that it creates many well-paid, high-skilled managerial jobs for local residents.
