Rishi has welcomed the opening of a new children’s nursery in Stokesley.
The Rosedene Forest School and Children’s Nursery opened in September in Ellerbeck Way and is part of the Guisborough-based Rosedene group, which operates 12 nurseries across Teesside and North Yorkshire.
Rishi joined children in a range of activities in the forest school area as part of Rosedene’s approach to combining early learning with outdoor exploration and environmental awareness.
Rosedene was founded in the 1960s by John and Clare McCullagh and is now led by their daughter Alice. The group’s philosophy centres on providing safe, engaging settings where children can develop confidence, curiosity, and social skills through play and hands-on experience.
Following the visit, Rishi said: "It’s fantastic to see Rosedene expanding in our area and continuing its excellent work in early years education. The team here in Stokesley have created a wonderful environment that helps children learn and explore through outdoor play and real-world experiences."
He added: "I know from visiting Rosedene before how dedicated the staff are and how much families value the care they provide. This new nursery and forest school will be a great asset to the community."
Managing Director, Alice Haslam said: “It was a pleasure to welcome Rishi back to Rosedene Nurseries, this time to visit our new Stokesley Forest School. We’re grateful for the time taken to visit our new facilities and speak directly with our Rosedene team and parents.”
