Rishi Sunak at Herriot Hospice Homecare

To support Hospice Care Week, Rishi Sunak called in to the coffee morning run by Herriot Hospice Homecare.

The event was held at the charity's furniture and electricals warehouse in Thurston Road, Northallerton.

Mr Sunak met staff, volunteers and customers browsing the wide range of used furniture and electrical equipment - all of which has been safety tested.

He said: "This is a great local charity and I had an interesting time looking at the Aladdin's Cave of quality goods available."

After making a purchase, Mr Sunak signed up to the Hospice Care Week campaign by spelling about what Herriot Hospice Homecare meant to him writing: "Bringing Comfort to the Final Chapter".

The warehouse is open on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday between 9am and 5pm.
