Rishi Sunak met more than forty residents at a coffee morning held at Redmire Village Hall.
He spent time speaking to residents around the tables, hearing about life in the communities and catching up with locals.
The event was arranged by Anne Day, Secretary of Redmire Village Hall, who welcomed residents to the village hall.
The coffee morning forms part of a series of similar events Mr Sunak has held across the constituency, spending time in different communities and speaking directly with local residents.
Mr Sunak said:
“It was great to spend time with so many residents from Redmire and to have the chance to sit down and chat with people.
“I always value the opportunity to come into local communities, hear what people have to say and catch up with residents. Thank you to Anne and everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable morning.”
Anne Day, Secretary of Redmire Village Hall, said:
“It was a privilege and a pleasure to welcome our constituency MP, Rishi Sunak, to Redmire Village Hall”.
“He came to give local residents of Redmire and Castle Bolton an opportunity to meet and chat with him, which he certainly did as he went round all the tables.
The morning also provided an opportunity for residents to catch up with neighbours and spend time together at the village hall.
