AN afternoon tea party raising money for Breast Cancer Care was supported by Rishi Sunak MP.

The event held at East Rounton Village Hall, near Northallerton, raised £600 for the cause.

Organiser Liz Hill thanked Mr Sunak for acting as quizmaster and announcing the raffle winners. Mr Sunak also congratulated Florence Robinson, aged 7, for correctly guessing the eight of the tea party cake.

Liz also thanked the many local businesses who provided food for the tea party including Roots Farm Shop, Stamfrey Farm, Whitegates Nursery, Kitsons and Hutchinson Hobbs Farm Shop.
