Rishi has marked a key milestone in the refurbishment of the much-loved day Yatton House centre in Great Ayton.
Rishi, who opened the first phase of the refurbishment of the centre for adults with learning and physical disabilities in 2019, cut the ribbon to mark the completion of the latest works.
He looked round the new developments and was particularly impressed with the new Skills Kitchen where centre members were baking and had prepared the scones for the afternoon tea he later sampled.
Members had also baked the cake which Mr Sunak cut to mark the launch of a £100,000 fundraising drive to complete the final stage of the full refurbishment of the facility. He wished the Trust every success in their efforts in continuing to transform the centre.
Rishi said how pleased he was return to Yatton House and meet many of the members he had met on previous visits. He congratulated all involved in achieving the milestone.
He later spent time talking to members about the activities they were involved in.
Rishi was presented with a wreath made by the Members as part of their horticultural enterprise activity.
