My first time in the ring at an Auction Mart! When I do my regular visits to auction marts I normally chat to farmers in the canteen or around the mart. Today was a little different!
I presented a prize on behalf of Broadley Insurance Brokers. I also took the time to speak to the farmers about some of the agricultural issues I am focusing on. I am hosting a Farmers' Forum next week to speak to a range of different farmers about their concerns and to highlight the main priorities I will fight for if elected in May.
As you can see from the picture, the prize cow also seemed to take a paritcular interest in what I was saying!
