I had a great time at Reeth Show and took five minutes out to record this video about some work I'll be doing on rural tourism when I get back to the House of Commons.
Britain's tourism industry is booming but we need to get more foreign visitors to venture beyond London and particularly to enjoy our beautiful countryside and events like this excellent show.
The Environment, Food and Rural Affairs select committee, which I sit on, will be starting work shortly on an inquiry into what can be done to make this happen.
