A nice end the evening at the Kings Arms where I spoke to dozens of residents over a drink. Funnily enough, there was even a couple from Stokesley who were staying in the nearby Holiday Bond Property!
Key topics raised with me were: supporting the rural economy, European regulation impacting farmers and affordable housing for young people. Some young, entrepreneurial farmers present were also excited about the opportunity to export more of their products to a growing international market.
